Well, its still quiet :)

It seems like the eruption in Eyjjafjallajokull or like Jose Mourinho said "Gudjohnsen" is going to stay down, at least nothing has been going on for the last days. Lets hope that this is over and that Katla will not erupt at all, or if it will, in the ocean. If Katla would go off, our normal life all over Europe and much more than that would be affectect in a big way!
Lets hope it stays cool :)

Here is an old picture from the 1918 eruption in Katla.

Eyjafjallajokull volcano

The specialist say that the eruption is getting smaller over the last few days, but this has happend 3 times before. So even if it gets a bit smaller it will likely power up again.
But I really hope that this is going to stop soon, the farmes cant take any more of this ash shit.

Eyjafjallaökull - Eyjafjalla glacier

We went for a birthdayparty yesterday to a town named Selfoss, that is a 45min drive from our capital Reykjavik. On the way we could see the eruption in Eyjafjallajökull very well.
Here are pictures.
